This chart displays the count of staff employed during specific years by Age Interval. Yearly data can be viewed at the State level or at an individual (or collection of) Staff Types level (such as Administrator or Teacher). The data may be further refined by selecting a Specific Postion (such as Regular Education Teacher or Special Education Teacher), or a combination of types and postions.

The data source is the Basic Educational Data Survey (BEDS) fall submission.

Definitions

1. Staff: Includes licensed staff only, those individuals who are required to be licensed according to Iowa Administrative Rule 281-12.4 or the Board of Educational Examiners to perform their duties.
